The Toccoa Symphony Orchestra and Toccoa Symphony Chorus present Of Thee I Sing, an inspiring spring concert under the direction of Dr. Benji Stegner and Dr. Thomas Council.
This uplifting program celebrates the spirit of American musical tradition through stirring orchestral works and powerful choral selections designed to honor the values and stories that unite us.
Featured orchestral selections include The Star-Spangled Banner, Mississippi: A Tone Journey by Ferde Grofé, the vibrant Festival Overture on the American National Air, and American Salute by Morton Gould.
The second half features moving choral works, including America by Irving Berlin, My Country, 'Tis of Thee, A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, and the triumphant “Worthy Is the Lamb / Amen” from Messiah by George Frideric Handel.
